Supplies:
- Flat Studded Leather Cord 5mm
- Flat Magnetic Clasp 1
- Scissor or Jewellery Pliers
- Adhesive Glue
- Measuring Tape
- Pen or Marker
Sizing the bracelet:
To get the perfect fit for the bracelet we need to ensure these following points:
- Take the measuring tape and hold it around the wrist firmly but not too tight.
- Mark it with the pen or marker then use a ruler to measure the length which would be your correct wrist size.
Trim the Flat Leather Cord:
As we have the accurate size of our bracelet, now by using the measuring tape we will mark the cord (take double of the size as it will be a layered bracelet) and with the help of jewellery cutter trim it. Ensure to keep an inch of extra cord as we are going to attach the magnetic clasp as the closure.
Attach the magnetic clasp:
Take the clasp and separate it into two halves. Put a good amount of glue on each end of the leather cord and the clasp as well, inserts the cords into the clasp hold it firmly until it’s getting fixed. Wipe off the extra glue and let it dry fully. And it’s ready to use!
